Gala Bingo | Sales Promotion

Gala Bingo wanted an unusual site to attract people and sign them up to their free poker training nights in the 'Magic Bus' which was touring the UK at the time. The site is built in AS3 and Papervision. Initially we prerendered the card sequences and dice in a 3-D programme but the final output was too larger in megabytes - even for a single card. So we switched to Papervision and ended up with a relatively small site. Site is built around XML files for easy updating and uploading of weekly pictures. The forms in this site will no longer work since we are past the end of the promotion.

Smoke & Mirrors | Company Website

Designed to highlight the companies width range of visual output. The site has deep-linking into any video and works with the browser history to allow for more standard navigation in the browser. The video player can re-size to and remove all window element but will not stretch the video controls. Fast navigation is possible using the keyboard or the mouse-tracking ball. Built in a Flex and PureMVC framework makes it easier to update and to change the source of the data - eventually it will be ported to a bespoke CMS.

Tate Modern | Handheld Multimedia Tour

Designed and developed for low power handheld touchscreen devices. Special attention was paid to keeping the framerate at approximatly 12fps - the maximum that was possible on the device. There are simple games and a live wireless poll that calculates in realtime the votes of the day and presents an easy to understand graphic. An xml socket is also created to allow the Tate to flash messages to user if appropriate, e.g 15 mins to closing, please hand-back the device.

Land Rover | G4 challenge

Eye-catching site to generate interest in the 2009 Land Rover G4 challenge competition. Delivered by the ezPublish CMS. The site had both a flash and html front-end is was multi-language. Users could upload assets of their current location and have these pictures appear, after approval, inside a flash image gallery. Site used swfAddress to control the browser history and for deep-linking into sections.

Universal | Business to Business

Site is a mixture of html and flash widgets - all fed data from the PHP/MySQL backend. Client could update the site live via a small PHP CMS.

Debenhams | Autumn sale

Flash widget to sit within a html page on the Debenhams site. The widget sits on a separate server to Debenhams site but can communicate with the e-commerce engine behind the site. All the sections and section content run off of XML. Lots of extra work was put into the parralax effect to get it just right for the client

Schroders | Private Equity Services

Site that works through the browser and a CD-Rom. Very demanding client especially with regard to typography. Deliverables provided in English and American English. Kept the number of codebases down to two ( the typography demands meant we had to format .fla files by hand ) so that updates would not be too troublesome. The site also dynamically loads tutorials and assets provided by Schroders.

Thinkbox | Video player

Client wanted a 'sweet and light' video player that could fit into their existing CMS and deal with other issues such as xml, section colours, credits and the like. Player is still live after two years so they must have been happy with it. Built with the Flash IDE/AS2.
